Our registered dietitian serves as a nutrition consultant for the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal health and well-being of our residents as well as designing and delivering specific dietary and complex nutrition needs. We provide each resident with a nourishing, tasteful, well-balanced diet that meets the daily nutritional and special dietary needs of each resident.

State of the Art Safety

Safety is a Top Priority

We have multiple prevention methods for the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses. These include routine electrostatic cleaning, needlepoint bipolar ionization (cold plasma), HEPA air scrubbers, and MERV 13 air filter installation. Cold plasma has been shown to kill multiple bacteria, viruses and mold spores, and recent studies have demonstrated a significant reduction of COVID-19 virus when installed.

Partnering With Industry Experts

We developed and implemented industry-leading protocols to help prevent the spread of disease. We partnered with university and community-based epidemiology clinical experts, the North Carolina Statewide Program for Infection Control and Epidemiology (SPICE), while following state and CDC guidance.

Some of Our Additional Safety Measures Include:

N

Following all guidance and requirements for state and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) to ensure optimal patient, family and staff safety

N

Residents are monitored and screened regularly

N

Teammates and guests wear masks throughout their shifts/visits when required

Engagement

Daily Activities

When residents have an engaging social life, they’re able to live more comfortably and productively. Activities give structure which provides them certainty in knowing what’s coming up next; time goes by faster and increases a sense of purpose. There’s also something comforting about having people around who care enough to make your days a little more interesting.
